They say, "Bee Green focuses on relationships, education and awareness between business owners and individuals. We believe that fostering relationships based on culture, health, wellness and sustainability will ensure a bright and positive future."

We couldn't agree with that more. If all towns had an online directory and magazine for the community to get involved in, it would certainly make the world a greener place. Here, Bee Green Magazine has found a place on the WWW to connect all Eco minded individuals, local businesses, youth, post secondary students, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders together for the well being of this wonderful plant.

EnviroBottles Promotional Items: The Green Alternative

EnviroBottles encourage reuse of a bottle or container versus so many disposable ones.
My husband recently looked into ordering promotional items for his business, but his main concern was the plethora of items that aren't eco-friendly to the enviroment that may just end up in a landfill.  EnviroBottles Promotion Items has proved to be an affordable and green solution to our needs.  I found them by this YouTube video when searching for a good eco green alternative. Here it is:

This company offers all kinds of eco friendly promotional items, everything from steel water bottles to recycled pencils,  tote bags, to wrap-a-mats (great for fundraisers--and it can all be printed on with your company name, logo, fundraiser, Etsy shop, etc.)  I never saw these before, have you? They are actually PENS whose barrel is made of recycled paper:

I had to do a double take. These super cool pens have barrels made of recycled paper!
At a minimum order of 100 for printing with your logo, this style reusable tote bags would be a great investment when doing craft or trade shows. You could give them free with purchases over a set amount.   In fact, some of the order quantities are super low on select items. Most companies make you order minimum quantities of 250 to 500, so I really like this. It's affordable enough to invest in your company without breaking the bank!
The enviro-totes are made of recycled polypropylene, and can be reused over and over instead of using plastic grocery bags. You know how much we hate them.

So, when you get a chance, check them out. If you know someone who is ordering promotional items for their business (even your boss at work) turn them onto EnviroBottles Promotional Items and make a green difference.

Meet Clone Hardware

Caramel Orange Upcycled Computer Component Necklace $49.99

Shop Name: Clone Hardware

Location: Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

Clone Hardware says, "After university (several thousand years ago) I decided to pursue a career in graphic & web design. But during the years of slaving / working in that field my creative energy was being slowly stifled.

Then one day I stumbled into the warehouse of Pothast Technologies, with boxes and shelves filled with beautiful and unique baubles, bits and pieces I had a lightbulb moment. I had never really been interested in conventional jewelry and with all these lovely and interesting things within my grasp I became inspired and empowered to create.

Clone Hardware was inspired by the constant influx of computer hardware and electronic devices that have entered our lives and sadly departed as well. The problem of e-waste has recently been the focus of many businesses.

With our partners, Phrenic Systems Inc. and Pothast Technologies we aim to extend and re-use technology as much as possible. By creating beautiful and unique pieces of wearable art out of what would otherwise end up in landfill, we hope to educate. Our landfills are still being overloaded with these products, and it’s up to us to dispose of them properly and try to reverse some of the adverse effects on the environment created by this modern waste.

The majority of the jewelry I create is made from salvaged computers and electronics, some is surplus/unused parts."
