Farm to Table Movement Utensils - Finally

credit: aboutaspberries.ud
I just saw this on twitter and went over to Big Fat Daddy's to read it. I was wondering why a BBQ guy was talking about utensils until I realized everyone is going greener and getting on the Farm to Table movement, often called Farm to Fork...so check this out:

This non metallic flatware set is made of bamboo, eco friendly, FDA approved and without chemicals is said to make your food taste better. I am sure it enhances the flavor by not taking away from it - I don't know about you but I've more than once tasted the metallic taste of a spoon in my soup. Durable to last!

Made from Eco Friendly Bamboo

Farm to Table is just beginning, some restaurants are already practicing it, taking fresh veggies from the farm to the dinner plate, now with these utensils it will complete the cycle.

Pregnant ladies listen up, read what they have to say about it!  hey are even working on spoons for chemo patients due to the metallic taste that most cancer patients get during radiation. I think this is great.

Check out TruFlavorWare now.

EnviroBottles Promotional Items: The Green Alternative

EnviroBottles encourage reuse of a bottle or container versus so many disposable ones.
My husband recently looked into ordering promotional items for his business, but his main concern was the plethora of items that aren't eco-friendly to the enviroment that may just end up in a landfill.  EnviroBottles Promotion Items has proved to be an affordable and green solution to our needs.  I found them by this YouTube video when searching for a good eco green alternative. Here it is:

This company offers all kinds of eco friendly promotional items, everything from steel water bottles to recycled pencils,  tote bags, to wrap-a-mats (great for fundraisers--and it can all be printed on with your company name, logo, fundraiser, Etsy shop, etc.)  I never saw these before, have you? They are actually PENS whose barrel is made of recycled paper:

I had to do a double take. These super cool pens have barrels made of recycled paper!
At a minimum order of 100 for printing with your logo, this style reusable tote bags would be a great investment when doing craft or trade shows. You could give them free with purchases over a set amount.   In fact, some of the order quantities are super low on select items. Most companies make you order minimum quantities of 250 to 500, so I really like this. It's affordable enough to invest in your company without breaking the bank!
The enviro-totes are made of recycled polypropylene, and can be reused over and over instead of using plastic grocery bags. You know how much we hate them.

So, when you get a chance, check them out. If you know someone who is ordering promotional items for their business (even your boss at work) turn them onto EnviroBottles Promotional Items and make a green difference.

Cheap Dog Poop Bags Biodegradable Compostable Eco Friendly

I know, I couldn't believe it when I read it either.  I am so excited for me and my pooches and for all us greenies who worry about little poochie's droppings. (Even more , we worry about the big dogs...) Can you believe that now you can get  Cheap Dog Poop Bags ?  Let me rephrase that, these are not just cheap, but super cheap! Check out the easy tie handles on the inexpensive  biodegradable dog poop bags!

Did I mention there is also a compostable dog poop bags?  Believe it or not, these dog poop bags are made of corn and are BPI certified. They work just perfectly for picking up Fido's feces in any park or neighbor's yard. You can now feel good about using dog poop bags and not harming the environment.  These are sold from Canada and are very affordable for purchase. The company has been in business only a few years but has sold millions of dog poop bags and it's no wonder--they are a hot commodity.

You can even go a step further and get your company name or logo on them. If I were a veterinarian I'd stock up on them and give them out as freebies to my clients. This is the next best thing since sliced bread.

Amazingly, the owner, Peter, isn't doing it to get rich. In fact I am sure he's only selling these bags a tad over cost.  He says, "While it's not the most glamorous job in the world, I take pride in helping millions of dog poops get scooped in an earth friendly manner by thousands of satisfied customers each year."

How can you argue with that? Make sure to check it out, here at Cheap Dog Poop Bags, because I didn't believe it when I saw it my darn self.
