A paperless kitchen is important...but maybe even worse than paper is plastic...That stuff takes hundreds of years to breakdown and our wildlife is eating it as food!
My sister told me that the other day she was in the grocery store and she saw this mother run into the disposable dish and cutlery aisle and quickly throw a package of the cheapest and biggest bag of styrofoam plates into her shopping cart. She then thought to herself, "Wow, I bet that lady's family never eats off of real dishes, they only eat off of disposable dishes." We certainly live in a "throw away society"!
