Lauren's Design started with Lauren making a tshirt adorned with upcycled and recycled bits of fabric for her best friend. Before she knew it, she was selling in local boutiques and winning a design competetion for Urban Outfitters. Fast forward to now--she sells in a store "Swell" in Downtown Bellingam as well as at the local market. (If you live near there, convo her for location and hours.) Most materials, such as: string, velcro, elastic, zippers, books, envelopes, and basically most of the things i use are all from second hand stores.
